Celebrating a Decade of Dedication in Logistics
May 23, 2025, marked a significant milestone for American International Cargo Service – Asia, as we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our China and Hong Kong offices. Since our inception in 2005, our team has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to excellence in logistics. With the event held in Zhuhai, China, it was a perfect occasion to reflect on the journey we have undertaken and to honor the employees who have been with us through thick and thin.
The addition of our own American International Cargo Service offices in Hong Kong and China allowed us to provide seamless service to the USA, achieve more knowledge of the region with our local experts, and of course build a platform that provides our own representation in the region for our client base and future growth potential. The timing of implementing our own offices was critical at the time as more USA companies began to buy Chinese manufactured products and we were able to participate in the significant growth of trade from China to the USA that has taken place in the last twenty years. Together with our USA team, American International Cargo Service Asia has become the engine of our NVOCC/OTI division and has allowed us to be a reputable player in the market and meet expectations to coordinate shipments and handle the front-end visibility that is key to our success. Together with our other services and capabilities under the American Shipping Company umbrella, we have transformed into a multifaceted organization that can compete in the global arena.

The anniversary celebration was a grand affair, featuring service awards for all Asia employees who have achieved milestone years. The ceremony was graced by key members of our USA management team, including Marc Greenberg, Ralph Natale, Frank Wiltgen, RoseAnn Burke, and Laurie McCarthy.
The event was filled with heartfelt speeches, moments of nostalgia, and a collective sense of pride in our achievements over the past two decades. It was a joyous occasion that highlighted the strength and unity of our team.
The ceremony was a blend of enjoyment, camaraderie, and mutual respect. The room was filled with many of our Asia colleagues who have been with our Hong Kong and China offices since their inception in 2005. Others have joined over the past 20 years, showing great loyalty to the organization and contributing significantly to our growth. It was a moment when our numerous offices in China and Hong Kong gathered in one venue, allowing colleagues to meet in person, some for the first time. Alongside members of our USA management team and owners, it was truly a celebration and an opportunity to reminisce about cherished memories and share stories of our collective journey. It was a moment to reflect on our growth and achievements, as well as to envision the future and the continued success that lies ahead for generations to come.

The duties were shared by our Asia Management and owners, as well as our USA owners, showing their gratitude for a job well done and with a personal touch that made the recipients recognize their importance as members of our team.
As an appreciation for our joining this anniversary celebration and years of support we have provided in the growth and success, our Asia colleagues presented our USA management team with meaningful gifts and keepsakes that represent, kindness, teamwork, respect and the future. While the time spent was short, the memory of this will last a long time.
